Is Hydrogen the Future of Motoring

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-14979817 - this link outlines the first UK public hydrogen filling station for road vehicles. It is looking very good for a zero-CO2-emission road transport future. Over an extended time period, oceanic 'calcification' processes (shell-building and coral reef regrowth) should benefit. I wonder whether the economic arguments in favour of these developments allow for the global 'hidden value' of coral reef structures amounting to approximately £1.1m/hectare/per annum ?
